Todos Juntos’ mission is “Creating connections that empower, educate, and inspire children, youth, and families. We value and celebrate diversity.” Our vision is empowering youth and their families to be successful at school, at home, and in their communities. Todos Juntos believes in the importance of one’s culture and serving communities through an equity lens. We believe we can better our communities by approaching trauma through a healing approach instead of a trauma approach.

Founded in 2000 by Eric Johnston, who dedicated his life to community education, Todos Juntos has grown into a cornerstone of support for rural Clackamas County, Oregon. Eric's journey began in the 1970s when he started working in Community Schools, developing and implementing after-school programs for elementary school children. His passion for education and community service took him overseas, where he developed school-based physical education programs in Niger, Africa, and Colombia, South America.

Upon returning to the United States, Eric recognized the need for similar support in his own community and established Todos Juntos as a school-based non-profit. Under his leadership, the organization has focused on healing through prevention, enrichment, education, and community engagement. Eric Johnston retired from his position as Executive Director in July 2024, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and a vision that continues to guide our work.

At Todos Juntos, we embrace the reality that trauma and inequality affect everyone differently. By offering programs and services centered on healing and empowerment, we strive to build stronger, more resilient communities. Empowering one another, regardless of ethnic background or socioeconomic status, is the key to healing and moving forward—All Together.
